1930 - 1939
Harry Elliot, 1891-1976. Kept wicket for Derbyshire C.C. in over
500 matches and for England in 4 games. Was landlord of the
White Hart public house in 1928 and played his first game for
England in South Africa in the same year. He was instrumental
in forming the Ashby Town Cricket Club, who played on Hood Park
up to 1939.

1930's. Ashby Town played there up to 1939, Ashby Northfields
played there after WW II, Meredith & Drew also played there.
Looks like Ashby Town Cricket Club, names unknown apart from 4th
from left, back row - A.E.Hurd. Other names mentioned - Gordon
Best and Jack Slater.
