Ashby museum has an archive of over 3000 photographs – both original and copies. This page allows people to view the main group of photographs, but does not include photographs in specialist collections as these often include ones that are not in our primary area of interest. Larger images may be viewed at the museum during opening hours, and copies for private use may be purchased.

Kilwardby Street. No.7 (formerly No.20) old cottage purchased by
Ashby Urban Council to extend their existing offices and build
new council chamber. Note: newspaper cutting from Ashby Times
detailing the opening of new chamber.

old Midland Railway Ashby-Breedon branch (developed in 2003-4
into Churchside Walk), extreme left, No.5 old UDC offices later
used as library and then Council Offices, currently awaiting
redevelopment.

carpark. Building alongside is No.3 and No.3A (used to be
No.17) prior to refurbishment into offices at front, and
redevelopment into residential properties, Kilwardby Mews, at
